They're a great way to learn about what's working on your profile and what you need to improve on! In this guide, we go over the four data points that you’ll come across and how to increase views in each data point.
Contra analytics show you four key data points:
Profile visits 🚪
Profile visits show you how many people who have come across your profile and where they discovered you. 👯
You can use the number of profile visits to determine how visible your profile is. For example, if this number is low, it means your profile has low visibility.
You can increase this number by adding your Contra URL to your social profiles, sending it to clients, or sharing your profile in our community Slack. 🔗
Typically, profiles that have at least three projects and a descriptive bio have more profile views, and are also more likely to come up in search.
You can use where they discovered you from to inform you which of your outlets bring you the most traffic. Invest in those outlets to increase your profile visits, and get even more clients! 🚀
Project Views 👁
Project views show you how many people click on your projects and look at them. 👆
If this number is low compared to your profile visits, it might mean your project images and titles are not compelling visitors to click.
If you notice that one project is performing better than another, you can try to take inspiration from that successful project, and apply it to all of your other projects.
Make sure your project thumbnail showcases your brand and aesthetic. You could also try adding a GIF as your project image. Likewise, your project titles should be descriptive and specific. 🔡

Services Views 👀
Services views indicate how many people expand your services. 🛠️
If you aren't seeing much traffic on your services, this may mean you need to take a deeper look at your service titles.
Make sure your service names are descriptive and clear. They should also be consistent with the skills you showcase in your projects, and the prices should be reflective of the work you will be doing.

Inquiries are the number of people who reach out to you based on your profile.
If you have few inquiries, try sprucing up your profile! Make sure your about page, projects, and services are filled out and high-quality.
